Checklist of NSR Registration Process
Checklist of information needed and procedure for making of your NSR profile and documents which may be refer for finishing NSR registration.
First Stage: NSR Web Registration
The first step is to visit the official website of the NSR
For registration, you require fifteen minutes of internet access and printer connectivity.
The next step is to click on the link “Register Now”, a new window is open by the website, and shown the process of registration, fees as well as registration terms and conditions. You need to read these terms and conditions.
On the NSR website, enter the following details:

Personal Details Section
In this section you need to mention the
Qualification Details
Academic qualification (from SSC onwards, Professional Qualifications, Technical Qualifications). You can write all your qualifications. If more rows are needed, you need to click on link “Enter more Qualifications”.
Career Information (Present and Past Employment Details)
- Name of the Company
In the list if you are unable to find your present employer, then send an email at nsr@nsdl.co.in with details of your company. NSR update this list and informs you also.
In the case of previous employer, if the company which you work is not in the list, then you can manually enter it. For doing this, use the option “Not in the list”.
- Employee Code (Mandatory)
- Joined in (Month/Year)
- Joined as (Designation)
Payment of registration fee (rupees four hundred plus applicable taxes) for the registration and first year annual usage fee can be submit online using the credit card or by cash / DD at the Point of Service (POS).
Second Stage: Registration of Biometric AT Point of Service
